The Boston University Dance Team is a performance squad dedicated to the art of dance and the promotion of school spirit.  We promote Terrier Pride by performing at all men’s and women’s basketball games, in addition to other on-campus, greater Boston, and community service events. We also travel to Daytona Beach, FL every April to compete in the NDA Collegiate Dance Championship against other Division I college dance teams. Last year, we placed 4th in the Team Performance division and 2nd in Hip Hop. This year, we need your help to get back down to Daytona Beach, so we can do even better than we did last year.

Though we receive funding from BU for basketball performance expenses (thanks, BU!), competing nationally is costly and not funded by the university. Each year our team works tirelessly to raise the money to go to Nationals by selling 50/50 raffle tickets at hockey games, cleaning Agganis Arena after events, writing letters and selling merchandise; however this becomes really hard on us because we are not only athletes, but also full-time students.

This year we are selling BUDT Apparel online to our friends, family and supporters to make it easier for us to raise money to help us cover our expenses, like competition fees, air transportation, accommodations, choreography, and costumes. Plus, all those cheering us on down in Daytona Beach will represent BUDT in style! 

We would like to represent BU the best that we can at Nationals this year, but we need your help! Your tax-deductible contribution will let us know that you believe in us!
